Presentation of PhD work

The treatment and utilization of steel slag have become a major problem around the world, especially, where the low activity and poor soundness. Using CO2 to carbonate steel slag can not only sequester CO2 but also improve the defects of steel slag. Carbonated steel slag can produce high-performance green building materials and achieve efficient recovery and utilization of solid waste. Besides, High gravity carbonization is a new CCS process, which can improve carbonation efficiency. Comprehensive high-gravity process and carbonation of steel slag contribute to breaking through the carbonation bottleneck of steel slag. His PhD aims to explore the carbonation mechanism of steel slag deeply and open up the comprehensive utilization way of high-gravity carbonated steel slag.
