Dr. Senthil Kumar Kaliyavaradhan., born on 13th October 1985 from India and completed the high school education in the year 2003. He has obtained both B. Eng. Civil Engineering and M. Eng. Structural Engineering in "First Class with Distinction" grade from Anna University, India , during the year 2007 and 2010, respectively. In B.Eng. he has obtained the university rank 48th rank among 1794 students. Prior to the entry of Ph.D. program, he was exposed to one-year field experience in the construction industry as project quantity surveyor and another one-year experience in university teaching for undergraduate students. He has joined the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, as a Ph.D. research scholar on 5th August 2011 with scholarship from MHRD India and carried out his his Ph.D.research on the topic entitled "Effective Utilization of Electronic Plastic Waste as a Partial Replacement of Coarse Aggregate in Concrete" and obtained his degree on 22nd August 2015. From the master and Ph.D. research studies, he has published 11 international journal papers in SCI / SCI (E) / Scopus journals and 15 national / international conference papers and two books. He is an editorial member of two journals and reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals. He has worked as an Assistant professor at VIT University, Chennai campus for 18 months and taught B.Eng. Civil engineering and M.Eng. Structural engineering students and guided 4 major thesis. Recently, he has started his research career as a post-doctoral researcher at College of Civil Engineering, Hunan University, Changsha , China in the year December 2016. During this one-year term,he has published 2 review papers / 2 international conference papers and received the NSFC research grant as a principal investigator.
