Dr. Nur Hafizah Abd Khalid

Dr. Nur Hafizah Abd Khalid, senior lecturer at the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), has joined Prof. Ling lab in May 2019 as a visiting scholar. Dr. Nur Hafizah Abd Khalid holds an international mobility scheme fund (Talented Young Scientist Program, TYSP) from China. Her research focus mainly on Fiber Reinforced Concrete, Polymer Composites, Composites and Bio-composites, Calcined Kaolinite Waste Materials and Value-added Waste Materials.
Dr. Nur Hafizah Abd Khalid is also a research member of Construction Material Research Group (CMRG), Council Member of Concrete Society Malaysia (CSM) and Mendeley Advisor (represents to Elsevier) and currently is the Principal Investigator of a National Grant from Malaysia (Fundamental Research Grant Scheme) funded with more than RM 115000.  
In 2008, Dr. Nur Hafizah Abd Khalid received her bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with honors from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). After completion of her degree, she worked as an Assistant Research Officer (ARO) in UTM for one year. Two years later, she earned her Master’s degree in structure and materials at UTM. Afterwards, she continued her research work in the Structure and Materials Laboratory at UTM as a phd student for 3 years.
